A couple of visits to Nethergong this week have been fairly quiet and also not that much on the recording front at night but i'm sure something good will be heard in the coming weeks. Birds of note this week included 1 Little Owl, 3 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Raven, 2 Marsh Harrier, 4 Blackcap, 3 Greylag Geese, 2 Reed Warbler, 2 Bullfinch, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Green Woodpecker, 6 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, c10 Chiffchaff, 3 Reed Bunting, 3 Common Whitethroat, 6 Yellowhammer, 1 Greenfinch, 1 Snipe, 2 Treecreeper, 2 Common Buzzard, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Swallow, 2 Kestrel and 1 Fieldfare.

Many thanks Richard. I'm using a Canon f4 300mm lens with a 1.4 converter. I'm still getting used to the new camera and was pleased to use it today on my first dragonfly. Looking forward to see whether the quality has improved a bit. Take care.
