A few birds have been added in the past week or so which have included Reed Warbler (85), Whitethroat (86), Green Sandpiper (87), Sedge Warbler (88) Lesser Whitethroat (89) and a female Ring Ouzel (90) was seen yesterday by Jason Moule on a visit there. Other bits seen over the weekend included 4 Cetti's Warbler, 5 Chiffchaff, 9 Whitethroat, 3 Reed Warbler, 6 Blackcap, 2 Coot, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Common Buzzard, 7 Mute Swan, 1 Jay, 2 Skylark, 4 Linnet, 2 Yellowhammer, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 Greylag Geese, and 1 Swallow. The first 2 Blue tailed Damselfly were seen on Satureday morning sheltering from the brisk north wind. Overnight 'nocmig' recording during the night on a couple of evenings produced very little, just a Little Grebe of note. Hopefully a few 'goodies' will pass over soon.

  1. That's an impressive list of sightings, Marc. Do I take it that you also saw the Ring Ouzel but did not photograph it? Nice shot of the Chiffchaff!

    1. No I didn't see the Ring Ouzel. It was found mid afternoon by a couple having a walk around the site. A good bird for the site. Take care.
