It's been predictably quite quiet of late but a few bits have been seen including 1 Red Kite west on Thursday, 1 Turtle Dove still 'purring' away, 2 Yellowhammer, 2 Common Buzzard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Hobby, 2 Whitethroat, a few Reed Warbler, and 3 Willow Warbler (112) on Friday. A quick look at the bushes this morning produced another juvenile Willow Warbler.

  1. Nice shot of a very smart-looking bird, Marc. It's been too long since I last saw, or heard a Turtle Dove - did you see it, or just hear it? Best wishes - stauy safe - - - Richard.

    1. Many thanks Richard. I only get a narrow window to see these warblers in early August. Miss them and that's it for the year. The Turtle Dove continues to show as I drive into Nethergong most times. A nice welcome to have. Take care.
